Start/End Date

As a standard feature I would like to have start/end dates for articles this is something I use quite a lot on my Joomla! setups.

For example;
Join now and until the end of the month use coupon 'DISC' and receive $10 off your membership renewal.

Obviously I would like it to stop displaying automatically at the end of the month.

The default should be an empty date meaning not set or similar.

Hi Larry,

Check out the special fieldnames here:
http://www.interactivetools.com/docs/cmsbuilder/special_fieldnames.html

You can create fields called: publishDate, removeDate, and neverRemove that do just that.

Gotcha this time [;)]

I know I can manually do it .. what I mean is that by default the system handles start/expiry it is something (about all I suppose) that comes in handy with J! when writing the article if I set the dates it just 'appens. If I do it manually and forget to add the check then it no gunna werk.
